It’s hard to know where to start. This album has been a long time coming. When I decided 5 years ago that I wanted to record a body of my work, I never really thought it would come to fruition. And here we are.

feel the fall explores the way we fall in and out of love. That’s not just romantic love, but platonic love, familial love, and self love. These songs are from my heart to yours.

Thank you to Cathy Huang for putting the words “feel the fall” into my head. Thanks to Renée Yoxon for always being my sounding board and (kind) critic during the writing process, and beyond. Thanks to Anton Lipovetsky for finding time in a very short trip to Toronto to record me too with me—I am forever grateful. Thanks to Mark Camilleri and his wonderful team of musicians for bringing this album to life. Thank you to those in my life who I have loved, who have loved me, who have broken my heart, who have made me feel the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Without you, there is no music. Thank you to my community for the overwhelming love and support, believing in me and this project. I am beyond humbled. Finally, the biggest thank you to my husband, Sebastian, who has endured my tears, pain, joy, breakthroughs, sadness, has been the first to hear every song, and has been there through everything else that comes with the creative process. I love you.

I dedicate this album to anyone who dares to love completely and risk a broken heart along the way. You are the bravest, and this one’s for you.
